I acknowledge the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the traditional owners of these lands and custodians of country. We pay our respects to the Elders both past and present.

Spruce
Sustainable living simplified.

Project description

With the rise of fast furniture, a growing portion of waste created on a global scale comes from home furnishings, such as sofas, mattresses and more. In Bangkok alone, almost half of the city’s bulky waste comes from furniture.

As Thailand’s first designer furniture subscription service by leading luxury furniture retailer Chanintr, Spruce is looking to change that with a sustainable subscription model that gives each piece of furniture a longer life through a refurbishment program.

Inspired by the crafted, organic curves found in modern Scandinavian furniture and in nature, the Spruce logo features an r–u ligature symbolising our connection to our environments and each other. When flipped and rotated the r–u forms an elegant “S” monogram and social media icon.
