San Francisco Design Week
CommUNITY

Project description

Event identity, theme and exhibition for San Francisco Design Week 2019. San Francisco Design Week is billed as the largest design festival on the U.S. West Coast. Over 130 designers from 17 countries around the world participated in a curated exhibition and silent auction, exploring the theme of Communicating Unity, “CommUNITY”.

The graphic identity represents a dynamic and interconnected design community, that is always changing and evolving. Stills from the animation were used on static communications such as wayfinding, brochures and exhibitor badges.

The exhibition poster could be animated by viewing it through an augmented reality app on a smartphone.
